Losing Sleep

I was at the gym the other day and I was impressed with how crowded the basketball courts were at 6am. These people cared enough about playing basketball that they got up and played when many of their friends were still asleep. It reminded me that our actions speak louder than words. When we say something is important but that we don’t have the time to accomplish it, we are often saying that we aren’t willing to lose anymore sleep to make sure it happens. Not everything can be done in the early hours, but other tasks can be and that could free up room in our day to accomplish more important things that can’t be done early. Or perhaps we are just really passionate about our sleep. In that case, most of us are prioritizing well.
