Every game or task comes with challenges. Ultimately challenges are overcome with decisions. Teams must make great decisions on a consistent basis if they want to be successful. It’s important to understand how we decide things. Everyone comes with their own hang ups and biases. These affect decision-making. Assuming a decision is good because it makes us feel good is naive at best and hopelessly arrogant at worst. Why and how a decision is made is more important than the actual decision because it sets up a pattern that will steer the team’s future decisions for years to come.
