If we mention the need for an adjustment early enough, we allow the adjustment time to be implemented. If we are “nice” and let it slide, we are not likely to see a correction. We will then see the need for adjustment over and over again. That repeat will become annoying and eventually the lack of correction will anger us. This anger seems justified because the mistake is obvious to us but since we have never communicated the need to adjust, the anger is unjustified.
