Acting as if what I do in my area is my business, without any care to how it affects others on the team, shows an arrogance that expects everyone to adjust for me. If it’s not arrogant, it is lazy because great teammates put in the extra effort to collaborate with others before they act. Great team communication is rare because it is difficult. It takes extra planning and requires a perspective that is larger than the myopia the ordinary teammate tends to exist in.
