Proactive Communication

It’s important for a team to communicate before their event. It doesn’t matter if it’s a meeting, competition, or show of some kind. The communication prior to the event will determine the outcome. This communication should not be confused with planning. An individual can make plans in his head. He may even write them down, but if he doesn’t communicate those plans to the team, the action is really unilateral in the midst of a team. Every teammate has the responsibility to make sure that the rest of the team is not surprised by any action they take.
