Insecurity is not invisible.

Other teammates can sense the insecurity in another. Teammates that fight for approval and credit will not go unnoticed. In those moments, the grab for influence sounds like a dissonant note in the concert of the team discussion. The irony is that insecure teammates are fighting hard for a good reputation, but in the end they lose credibility when everyone around them realizes their motive is not to contribute to the team but to their image. It’s not the crime but the cover up. Great teammates understand mistakes and liabilities, but they resent the teammate that acts like they have it all together when they clearly don’t.
