There are two types of teammates. One type works until they find a problem. At that point, they stop and report the problem and explain why they cannot move forward. The second type of teammate works through a problem without stopping until they find a solution. They then report the problem after the solution has been found. They may report a problem and ask for help with the solution. The difference is perspective. The first type sees a problem as an obstacle that ruins their plans forward. The second type sees a problem as a doorway to a solution that just needs unlocking.
