People disagree and at the end of the day they have to ask themselves if they can fight and sacrifice for a decision they disagree with. Not everyone can. Most people don’t give the same effort towards ideas that didn’t originate with them. Those people work hard to prove themselves right when the decision goes their way. When it doesn’t, they don’t work as hard to prove themselves wrong. Great teammates can root for a decision that proves themselves wrong initially, but benefits the team over time. This is true even when the benefit isn’t immediately evident.
