Handpick a person that fits the position, transmit your enthusiasm about an “opportunity”, and pitch the vision of the team and their role on it. Many times we do an open call for positions on the team. It’s a good start to find the interest. The hard work after a call for interest is to meet face to face with each person to get to know as much about them as possible. This is where the interview process begins. The goal here is to find out how many of the “interested” people fit your nonnegotiable list and place them accordingly.
