The vision of the team is a good start for the recruit to see the thinking behind the expectation and purpose for the team. It’s the WHAT and WHY, but there is so much in training that describes HOW. People can get overwhelmed by the why and what of a vision. The HOW shows the path they will ultimately join. Once I learned to understand the importance of explaining the HOW, I became a better recruiter because I could communicate the entire vision in a way that seemed achievable and attractive.
