When a leader trusts the difficult decisions to another teammate they have to know that person can handle difficulty. It’s not as important that the right decisions are made by others but that the right decisions are made for the right reasons. If a person is emotionally secure they cannot be influenced to make decisions for the wrong reasons. The “why” is found in emotional secure individuals that can see the way we see. Of course this only works if the delegator is emotionally secure as well.
