Disparaging Diligence

I have noticed that great teams never disparage diligent effort. They know that one of the main attributes that led their teams to greatness is diligence. I have noticed that there are those who disparage diligence as unnecessary, almost as if it’s trendy to be nonchalant and cool about not sweating the details. This can gain a following (especially on social media) because it’s what ordinary teams want to hear. Great teams always outlast the trendy fads because their methods rely less on cutting corners to get ahead or to gain a following and more on what it actually takes to succeed. Greatness requires sweat and details and a lot more than ordinary teams want to realize.
