The vast majority of unreasonable expectations that lead to frustration are caused by miscommunication. It always amazes me how a seemingly small conversation can help everyone get on the same page and avoid team blow ups. We dismiss the importance of these insignificant conversations because they result in peace and order. I am sure that the best learning after a storm comes in finding out the conversations that didn’t happen preceding it. Great teams leave nothing to chance and therefore experience a smoother path to success.
