Long time team members will have a deeper connection. Team members who work closely together will have a different connection than those who are not required to collaborate as much. Great teams embrace and accept the realities of how human relationships develop. Ordinary teams allow unrealistic expectations to drive the internal politics and get distracted by the fallout of those expectations. People are people and it’s important that the team recruits emotionally and relationally healthy people so they can avoid the distractions of junior high politics.
