Bitter or Better?

When things don’t go our way, the team has a choice to get bitter or get better. The bitter team focuses on finding the person or circumstance to blame for their loss. The better team admits that improvement is needed and seeks the weakness that the team can work to develop. Bitter is much easier than better. Bitter doesn’t have to admit blame because it’s always someone else’s fault. Bitter understands what it’s “really” like and thinks winners are just lucky. Am I entitled to cynicism and resentment? If so, I am not making my team better.
