Make a 100mph mistake

Anxiety can be an inhibitor. I realized that anxiety was a self-fulfilling prophecy while playing and coaching football. If I am anxious because I am afraid to make a mistake, then I usually hesitate in the moment and miss an opportunity to make a great play. The same came with play calling. Fear holds us up from making our decisions. The problem is that this hesitation is the cause of most of the mistakes we make. To overcome this, I became determined to make mistakes at 100 mph rather than a hesitating stand still. Most of the time, when traveling at that speed, I made the play anyway.
