The Impact of a Leader

Team leaders must realize they have an impact on the team that is much different from everyone else. Suggestions can be taken as mandates. Indifference can be taken as disapproval. Silence can be taken in any number of ways depending on the imaginations of his teammates. Great team leaders understand their impact on the team and work to make sure that impact doesn’t put anyone in a difficult situation. They make sure their communication is clear and filled with purpose.
