Preparation Aversion: Unconfident

I also tend to avoid proper preparation when I am at a loss for what to do to properly prepare. I gravitate toward tasks that I am confident with and preparation is often, by its very nature, work that is necessary because of a proven lack of experience or proficiency. Avoiding that preparation due to lack of experience or success ensures a future lack of experience and success. Training often takes away the anxiety and gives the confidence to prepare the way we know we should. Training is the direct instruction that should give us the confidence to prepare well.
