I may be projecting but I am sure most people would answer the following question with the same answer: would you rather learn from someone who is lucky or someone who is good? I am willing to bet that most people will say they prefer to learn from the “good” rather than the “lucky”. Most people do not actually avoid learning from the extremely lucky regardless of how they answer. This is because we tend to set up lucky, successful people as our only examples. Sometimes, what separates the good team from the champion is a bounce of a ball or an injury to an obscure but important player. The losers tend to get ignored.
